The oval ones don't shatter, cut easily, the round ones though will shatter so I used a pill cutter. I will report results in another week or so. Want to find out for myself if there will be a difference. After 2 days my BP was 75/50. I see the Dr in a week but my BP was down to 98/60 after one dose of the added Lisinipril. You can call your doc for his/her input as to continuing or lowering dose or forgetting it
